CARE FOR WHAT YOU LOVE

A little care goes a long way.

Your pearls and jewellery are made to be worn, loved and enjoyed. A few simple habits will help keep your favourite pieces looking beautiful for years to come.

01

PEARL CARE

Caring for your pearls

Pearls are naturally delicate and deserve a little extra care. Avoid exposing them to perfume, hairspray, cosmetics, cleaning products and other chemicals.

After wearing your pearls, gently wipe them with a soft, clean cloth before putting them away. This helps remove natural oils and residue that can build up during wear.

Avoid soaking your pearls or wearing them while showering, swimming or exercising.

02

JEWELLERY CARE

Keeping your jewellery beautiful

Sterling silver may naturally tarnish over time. A soft jewellery polishing cloth can help restore its shine. Avoid harsh or abrasive cleaners, particularly around pearls and delicate settings.

Gold and rose gold plated pieces should be treated gently to help preserve their finish. Keep them away from chemicals, perfumes, lotions and excessive moisture, and avoid vigorous polishing.

Fine chains and settings also appreciate gentle handling. Remove jewellery before activities where it may be pulled, knocked or exposed to chemicals.

THE GOLDEN RULE

Last on. First off.

Put your jewellery on after perfume, makeup, moisturiser and hair products. At the end of the day, make your jewellery the first thing you take off.

And give your pearls a night off from showers, swimming, sleeping and workouts.

03

STORAGE

Storing your treasures

Store jewellery somewhere clean and dry, ideally with individual pieces separated to help prevent scratching and tangling.

Pearls are softer than many other gemstones and metals, so keeping them away from harder jewellery helps protect their surface.

Fasten chains before storing them and give delicate pieces enough room that they are not crushed or pulled.

04

NATURALLY UNIQUE

No two pearls are exactly alike.

Part of the beauty of pearls is their individuality. Natural variations in colour, shape, lustre, surface and markings are characteristics of the pearl rather than imperfections.

Your pearl may have tiny differences that make it completely its own — and that's part of what makes choosing and revealing your pearl so special.
